A few small questions make a small bar easier to enjoy.
Start with the welcome
Look for the venue’s own signs and ask whether it has space for your group. Some Golden Gai bars serve regular customers only. Keep your group small and respect the answer.
Ask about the bill first
A seat or admission charge may be separate from your drinks. Ask what applies before sitting down, then choose from the menu.
Keep the moment comfortable
Ask permission before photographing people or the bar. Follow the posted rules and avoid blocking the lanes.
